Leto Ajes is the son of Praul Ajes and has a fraternal twin sister, Kanna.
Appearance
Leto is a small boy with short green hair, green eyes, and freckles. He was seen wearing a light blue top with long sleeves and dark blue pants.
He resembles his twin sister Kanna, and it has been said that both twins bear a resemblance to their mother.[1]
Personality
Leto seems to be mischievous, teasing his sister, sneaking into libraries, bugging his father, and reading 16+ literature.
Notes
- When Brilith explains to the twins how magic can go wrong, they tease each other because their spells often fail.[2] This is most likely due to the fact that they each have one Nil attribute, which was revealed in Volume 6.
- The book Leto attempted to borrow was The Ravishing of Mrs. Witch, which has been said to be Willarv's best-selling 16+ (adult) novel.[1] Agni is later seen reading this same book[3] and it has a sequel[4].
Plot
Season 1
Chapter 10: The Night it Rained Fire
(2) Leto and his sister first appear at the Fire Temple library when Miss Tara catches them trying to run off with some restricted books (in his case, "The Ravishing of Mrs. Witch"). It seems they often sneak into the library... and get caught by Miss Tara, who complains that they do not like to obey rules or listen to their elders.
The Priest of Fire, Brilith Ruin, is at the library when the twins try to steal the books. When she sees that the sister wants to read a book about summoning magic, she sits with them and lectures the siblings about it.
(3) After the attack on the magic academy, the twins join up with their father Praul, teasing him about him talking to a beautiful woman behind their mother's back.
(20) During the cleanup after the second attack on Atera, Urga Ill asks Praul if he found his children. He answers that he did, but does not know what to do with them now (as they both obnoxiously tug on his sleeve).
Season 3
Chapter 48: Separation
(21) During the N23 attack on Atera, the academy students, among which Leto and Kanna were supposed to be, get evacuated. Yet Praul is informed that his children are missing. He and Haas Lehn go out to search for them.
(24) Two green-haired children can be seen crying over the body of their mother among the ruins of Atera. It is possible that these are the twins.
